How I Built Framonial: From Idea to Launch as a Solopreneur
·2 min read
I know today is Christmas; trust me, I hesitated to hit publish. But as I reflect on the year and the journey that brought me here, I realize this was the perfect time to share something close to my heart.
When I first set out to create Framonial, I didn’t just want to build another tool — I wanted to solve a real problem for creators and businesses. And today, I feel compelled to tell you about it, even if it means taking a few minutes of your holiday.
The Problem: Turning Testimonials into Trust
Testimonials are more than words — they’re trust signals that drive credibility and sales. But let’s be honest: collecting, organizing, and displaying testimonials can feel like a chore. It’s one of those things we know we need to do but often push to the bottom of the to-do list.
I’ve been there, juggling feedback and trying to make it look good on websites, only to realize there had to be a better way. That’s when I decided to solve this problem — for myself and others like me.
Discovering Framer: My Turning Point
Before Framer, I tried other no-code tools. Webflow left me overwhelmed, and while Glide was great, it wasn’t quite the right fit for my vision. That’s when I discovered Framer — a platform that combined the design freedom I loved in Figma with the simplicity of no-code site building.
With Framer, everything clicked. It allowed me to focus on solving the problem without getting bogged down in technical hurdles.
Building Framonial: A Tool for Trust
Framonial was born out of necessity:
- A seamless way to collect testimonials.
- Tags for organization and easy filtering.
- Beautiful displays to build trust instantly.
But as I built and tested Framonial, I realized it could help more than just me. Whether you’re a business owner, entrepreneur, or Framer user, testimonials matter. And Framonial is here to make managing them effortless.
Why Share This Today?
As someone who transitioned from a 9-to-5 graphic design job to solopreneurship, I’ve learned to appreciate the little wins. Framonial is one of those wins I’m proud of, and Christmas feels like the perfect day to share something meaningful.
I know today is about family, rest, and celebration. But if you find a quiet moment, I invite you to take a look at what I’ve built.
A Bigger Vision
I’m sharing this not just because of Framonial but because I want to inspire others to take that leap. If I can go from struggling with tools like Webflow to creating something meaningful with Framer, you can, too.
Thank you for letting me share this on such a special day. I promise there’s more to come — insights, lessons, and the journey behind Framonial.
Happy holidays,
